The Planet's Most Moronic Hacker
"This is the story of "bitchchecker" (the hacker) a user who lost it because he thought he had been kicked of an IRC channel by "Elch". The hacker comes back on the channel threatening to hack and ruin Elch's machine, and dares Elch to give his IP address. The address given was 127.0.0.1. "
Its a must read log. For such a hacker anything is possible.

SuSE 9.3 ....
If I remember correctly 8.1 was the speedy one.
Unlike the previous versions, so far I havent crossed a single hard-ware loop with this one.
Novell is doing a pretty good job with this (even though they are using SuSE for the Novell Desktop).

I agree, the buck is mighty
Adobe has bought Macromedia,
dammit... what are they trying to do?
1. Limit the Macromedia as the way Adobe do.
2. Integrate a file browser with "thumbnails" in Dreamweaver.
3. Push-button wizard to create websites in Photoshop.
Recently Adobe hired some senior guy from the Linux family. After this they did Acrobat Reader for Linux. And also we've seen Macromedia release the Flash Player for Linux late 2004. The open-source community and supporters will be crossing their fingers to a UNIX compatible Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
The theory of "Hate is the beginning of love" is proved in technology. In August 2000 Adobe sued Macromedia, vice versa.
What was this "Adobe Macromedia war" about?
The similarities in the Floating Palettes, customizable interface with the tabbed feature, image rendering features and so on....
Each of them was blaming the other on stealing "the fancy Gooey" which both of the company are so proud of.
This merger is somewhat making me happy. As my plan to switch 100% to Linux is very much depending on these two softwares. Thinking optimistic I see a better chance.
Whether this mighty company will be double creative as they were or will they be using the Redmond-Ranch as their only platform. Again .... fingers crossed.

Weird Paartey !
On Thursday I met this guy just behind Nasandhura, who was zigzagging the road and almost crawling to me. He called my name and asked me whether I can give him 10 Rufiyaas. I remembered this guy, he was a close friend of mine back in the early 90's.
I lied to him and told him that I don’t have any. I was shocked watching him reach his pocket and pulling out the chunk of cash. At a glance I counted more than 4 leaves of RF100 notes.
He offered me a deal and asked that he can give me a 100 if I give him 10. I asked why he needs this desperate 10 Rufiyaa. He replied that he wants to buy some cigarettes and he wants only worth of RF10.
I began thinking whether I should give him 10 and take a 100 from him. :>
But I thought he might remember what I told him earlier. hehhehehe
Anyway I agreed to the guy on my right shoulder and left him with a sorry.
I couldn’t stop thinking how this happened, but now I concluded that this guy maybe an angel in disguise who just wanted to test my honesty.
I guess I passed with an 'A'.

Maybe... just maybe
Last week the world lost its only Pope. He was an old man who bolded his life nearing his end.
He was well respected by majority of the world’s population. He was against US invasion to Afghan. He opposed the Iraqi invasion. He also opposed recent removal of feeding tube from Terry Shiavo. US ignored him with all these issues. BUT still he was one of the most "RESPECTED". And anything, if Pope said was absolutely true and correct.
Our local news sources are unaware of his death. Well.... we all saw Mother Teresa's funeral on TVM. No problem with that. Still we don’t understand why they are blocking all these, when Kasauti and team are showing every detail of Buddhist mythology. Am I loosing my point here? YES ... I think I am.
Pope gained his power in 1978 and lost it in 2005.
I don't know any other person who got power in 1978.
..... ooops (hick) (cough) ................. (SIGH)
