Found it. ...One guy called around 10am pretending being busy at hospital. Gave me the information where the bike was and asked me to give the reward to the guy standing next to it.
I was happy to get my bike back, and gave this guy 500.
Later a friend who is also a taxi driver told me that this was a setup and this guy is famous for it. he also said that this was the fourth bike reported last night.
This con-guy is doing some good business, Rf500/bike.
This was a big con-setup.

wud it be a good idea to have security cam's in major streets.after all male is small place and it wudnt be that costly i guess.
male' is a small place the use of security camera is a good i dea. but people of male' are very paranoid. they will come up with conclusions as to someones playing bigbrother on them.
have security cams all over the place, and you will have pictures through windows of every household on balaabodu. People aren't stealing bikes because their is not enough security, its because there is not enough jobs, and too much drugs. Try to fix the original problem, instead of band-aiding it with something else.
